My visit to Humidor, the cigar lounge at InterContinental, was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and made me feel genuinely appreciated from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere is relaxing and refined. This is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a great cigar, and simply savor the moment. If you appreciate the finer things in life, this is a ”must visit”. The cigar lounge is truly not to be missed.

While waiting to check in at Intercontinental Hotel, I decided to grab a quick bite and I’m glad I did. I had their French fries, which were served hot and slightly crispy on the outside. Simple but well-executed. 5/5 The beef satay was a standout: perfectly grilled, tender, and paired with a rich, flavorful sauce that had just the right amount of spice. 5/5 The spring rolls were definitely worth the wait. They came out fresh and crunchy, packed with well-seasoned cabbage and other tasty fillings. 5/5 I also appreciated the complimentary Thai milk tea, which tasted great. I loved the thoughtful presentation, served with the sweetener on the side that perfect for those watching their sugar intake. 5/5 Service was equally impressive. Special thanks to Trisha, who was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. Highly recommend for a quick yet satisfying pre-check-in snack or meal!

I stumbled in here on my first night in Bangkok and I’ve been back nearly every night since. This is such beautiful lounge and bar. Staff are professional, knowledgeable warm, inviting and always have a beautiful charm about them. Starting with the ambience, it’s classy and sophisticated without being pretentious, it’s comfortable and the aircon is always just at the right temperature. Music selection rotates with soft vocals or jazz that always complement a relaxing atmosphere. There’s also a great selection of cigars to choose from if you don’t have your own, both Cuban and New-World. Lastly the menu is very well thought out for pairings, from wine, cocktails, fine spirits, coffees and a great non-alcoholic menu to match with your cigars. If you enjoy cigars, you’ll appreciate the warm and beautiful atmosphere at Humidor Bar and Lounge in Bangkok’s Intercontinental Hotel ❤️

My friend suggested we enjoy a cigar together. Knowing that Southeast Asia is notorious for counterfeit cigars, we thought opting for a cigar lounge in a five-star hotel like the InterContinental would guarantee quality. Big mistake. The ambiance was what you’d expect from a luxury hotel—polished and upscale. The staff initially seemed professional, asking about our flavor preferences and favorite brands, which made me feel reassured. That is, until I unwrapped my first cigar and found the wrapper completely torn. Alarm bells started ringing. I asked for a replacement, only to be told with hesitation that it was the last one of that kind. I insisted that the quality was unacceptable. Then, to my disbelief, the next three cigars I chose from the menu were all “out of stock.” Eventually, they offered me a Partagas Mille Fleurs ($930), which they claimed was a recent arrival. My friend ordered a Romeo y Julieta No. 1 ($1450) and a Montecristo No. 5 ($1200). Here’s where it gets infuriating. The Romeo y Julieta? Completely flavorless. The Montecristo? Impossible to draw after lighting it up. Seriously, what are the odds of ordering three different cigars in a five-star hotel’s cigar lounge and all of them being duds? We also ordered a whiskey and an espresso, bringing the total bill to 5,000 THB. My Partagas was barely smokable, but I managed to finish it. The other two? Utterly unsmokable. When I raised the issue with the staff, their excuse was: “There might have been an issue with the humidor recently, affecting the cigar quality.” Are you kidding me? Is this a Humidor Cigar Bar or a Humor Cigar Bar? And their solution? A full, undiscounted bill accompanied by a half-hearted apology. @intercontinental Bangkok Is this the quality we should expect from a cigar lounge in a five-star hotel? I don’t even want to entertain the thought that you might be selling fakes… but that Romeo y Julieta No. 1? It was so bad, it’s almost suspicious.
