CLUB BACK DOOR (CBD)

Went there on the last party day post NYE. The multi floor club with sleezy options of dance floor, dark rooms were enticing.

I am highly disappointed. I used to come here when it was still Rush and had great nights. But now it's become a bad place. Rush was doing an amazing job in introducing sth new to Bangkok, more Berlin vibes. And now Backdoor is Piggybacking in a bad way. It was a special weekend and the tickets were super expensive to begin with. 800 Baht for one evening including 2 drinks , that is what they said on the poster. And I wrote to them before on instagram and asked about the darkroom and they said it was open! Then I arrived and they said it is not open. Then some westerner came and said they might open a bit later. All to make me buy the ticket. Not only wasn't it 2 drinks included but 400 Baht in drinks voucher and a normal Gin Tonic was already 250! So I would have had to pay even 10p extra for a second which I refused out of principle because it was a lie. And rhe second lie was that they never opened the dark room. I accept if things change and them it is up to people to prove whether it is a good change or not. But lying is unacceptable. Simply bad. Oh and the vibes were also bad, obviously. Almost no thai local will go there now
