Cut & Curl

I’ve always had great experiences in Bangkok when I visited a hair salon until I came here. I just wanted a simple trim and ended up losing a good amount of my long hair. I went with a normal stylist as I thought they’re all trained and know what they’re doing but I was wrong. When she started cutting she didn’t cut downwards but into the hair, almost at a horizontal angle and she kept going which cased losing almost my whole front??? Did she never get any training? Even I could have done a better job. So after I lost all my front length I told her to stop and asked for someone else to finish the job. Unfortunately it wasn’t salvageable even by the professional in the same salon and I had to get it fixed elsewhere. Avoid at all cost!

Earlier today, my mother reported that while styling her hair one of the male hairdressers (the older man) inappropriately touched her, and repeatedly invaded her personal space which made her uncomfortable. This is harassment. Please do something about him. This should not be tolerated in your establishment. This took place around 11:45 am on the 25th of November at the Central world branch.

The older lady who handled my hair was very rough. I've been to many salons in my life and she's the first who just grabbed and cut my hair with thinning scissors in any directions like she's in a hurry to finish the job. She brushed it too roughly and it felt like it was breaking the ends of my hair. I felt really bad for my hair. It was torture! I had tried so many hair stylist in my life and i can say she is the worse so far. I never want her to touch my hair ever again. Oh, there was one positive thing in this shop, the one who washed my hair was gentle and light handed. Good job to her. Also, the assistants were nice. Over all, this salon experience traumatised me.
