After 9 months of attending I can give a full review on this gym. The gym is well equipped, staff and people there are very friendly and I had a lot of great time. Also the visa process was easy and clear. But I am not sure you can become good in boxing here. Maybe problem is me or it’s because I don’t speak Thai. At first I had a 1-on-1 Muay Thai classes. I asked in advance what is better to join as a newbie and admin said better to go to private class first than to group class, which I did. So I was with the Kru who doesn’t speak English at all, it was hard to understand what to do, I just repeated what he showed me. Then I joined the group class and I get a good Kru who speak English a bit and it was better, but the first thing he asked me was “Are you first time? You don’t know the basics?” and by that time I’ve been attending 1-on-1 classes for more than a month already. After that i thought I’ve been improving until a lot of month later another Kru asked me how long am I attending and I answered something like “6 months already” and he looked surprised from my technique. So sad, maybe I am just not born to do boxing lol. Group classes are actually fun and good. Look like PE lesson + boxing, so if you interested in fun activities it’s a good thing to join. From all the Kru I highly recommend to stick to Kru Nhan. And if you wanna have more fun lesson - Kru Wan. Also I joined the strength training classes with PT Sun and enjoyed it a lot. I achieved my goals with weight loss and improved a lot with form and weights. PT Sun is a real professional, I can see as I had experience in gym before. He helped me to see that I am really strong and I can always do more than I think. I get a lot of support from him and I am gonna miss this classes Overall everything was good. Gym 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PT Sun 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ps unfortunately the place is quite pricy 😔

As someone with pretty good experience in Muay Thai, I joined this gym due to it being my secondary fitness protocol and the prices were pretty good compared to other MT gyms. I did the group classes. First off, this is more a group fitness Muay Thai gym. I say this because almost all the students that I had encountered here (and at the Ploen Chit location) are either beginners or barely intermediate. The structure is warmup, pad work and HIIT/Calisthenics/stretching 15-20 minutes of warm up and stretching which sometimes is like light cardio. 25 minutes of pad work. You sign up on arrival who you wish to hold pads for you. Max 3 ppl per trainer. 1-2 people means you get 4 rounds. 3 people means you get 3 rounds. All rounds are 3 minutes each. I like my 4 rounds. While the rounds are good, I don’t get as tired as other MT gyms where those trainers push me harder. It’s good cardio regardless but I prefer to be pushed more and one of the trainers here does it. 20-25 minutes of HIIT/calisthenics and quick stretching after. They often have you use dumbbells and/or a kettlebell. The Ekkamai location is probably their best compared to Ploen Chit which is the closest other location. This gym has tall ceilings so noise isn’t a problem. It’s well ventilated. It’s on the 2nd floor of the mall so you have access to food courts and restaurants and is right off the BTS. If it rains, you’re dry. Excellent combo. Free parking (you’ll need a ticket and a trip to the mall counter to validate). Comparing to other MT gyms, there’s no sparring here and there is little training to help you improve in group classes. I would get a tip here and there so it’s not entirely absent on pad work. Private training will give you tips to improve technique, etc. Note that the weight lifting area here is not an open gym. It’s only for personal trainers for your private sessions if you had signed up. They have showers. Toilets are in the mall outside the gym, same floor. I love that I can keep my gloves there.

Was interested in joining but instead of telling me more about the gym and showing me around, it felt like I was inconveniencing them. Only told me information found online when I really wanted to see the facilities and the gym itself. Felt really unwelcome. Wasted my time visiting the space only to be turned away.
