Kenko Beauty & Massage

If I can I will give it a 0. I went for a Foot + Shoulder & Back massage with my husband and a friend on Saturday (12apr). It started pretty ok, but once she really started on the foot massage, it felt like she’s just applying cream on my legs (no pressure at all). I have stiff muscles so I asked the masseuse to press harder and to my horror she replied, “It’s very late, today have a lot customers.” I was so turned off by that unnecessary reply like cmon, I don’t think that’s the customer’s problem, either she is full of excuses or the management has some issues of overworking their staff. I paid 550baht in full and not 10% (like the strength that she’s using). Anyways so we were asked to lie down for the back and shoulder massage. After a few tries, she decided to step on my back (without asking me first). I am someone who gets massage frequently so I definitely can differentiate if someone is stepping correctly or not. It felt like she was stepping on my back horizontally, not pressing on any points but just suffocating me. I told her to stop when I felt really breathless. After I get back to the hotel, I felt very unwell and sore on my back. Went to check the mirror and realised my back is all bruised. This is the WORST massage that I’ve gotten ever in my life. Here’s a photo of my back after the massage. But on a side note, the masseuse that my husband and friend had was totally fine. It’s just the lady who did mine who had super long hair (her hair was just brushing my body the whole time cos she didn’t tie it, and by now long I mean real long prolly till waist length).
