The Sportsman Sports Bar and Restaurant

Enjoyed an amazing roast pork Sunday lunch for only 199 baht (chicken, beef, lamb available). Together with a pot of tea the total bill was 289 THB. No ++ addition of service charge and VAT to advertised price here This is a huge long established bar on 2 floors, showing a huge variety of global sports live, Pool is huge here with tables upstairs and down, catering for casual players up to hosting regular competitions. Has an extensive food menu with daily specials, and over a circa 20 draft beers to choose from at very competitive prices. 150THB for a large beer Lao draft for example, I’ve not found one cheaper in Bangkok. An extremely well run and managed bar, especially on the second floor where I had lunch(slightly more focussed on pool upstairs). The service was excellent too- happy to leave a tip. It can get very busy upstairs and down, on weekend evenings and during major sporting events. On these occasions it might be advisable to book via Facebook if coming with a group. Located on Sukhumvit Soi 13, a short walk less that 10 minutes from Nana BTS.

Went to see the 49ers NFL playoff game. It was a very busy place. Breakfast was very good for a packed house. Service was great for being sooooo busy. Staff was trying to accommodate anyone coming in late by taking lights down and moving chairs and tables so everyone had a view. Lots of TVs. Horrible game. Lol. Made new friend. I will go back without a event just to play billiards.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Sportsman Bar & Restaurant – Bangkok I was looking for somewhere to watch Monday Night Football in Bangkok (which basically becomes Tuesday morning football with the 12-hour time difference), and The Sportsman Bar was perfect. I was surprised—and impressed—that they open at 7 AM, so I was able to catch the kickoff at 8 AM with no problem. I ordered the English breakfast and it was tasty and fresh. Honestly, it’s a cool concept being able to enjoy a solid breakfast while watching American football first thing in the morning. The staff was friendly, plenty of screens around, and the atmosphere was chill for an early game. I’ll definitely be back for the UFC fights and other big sports events from the States. Great spot for early-morning sports fans in Bangkok!
