Arai Arai Home Cafe & Local Bar

I stayed in Bangkok for six weeks at the hostel next door and found myself here nearly every day. You may serendipitously stumble upon this place, but really, it’s the kind of place that finds you. You come for the coffee, and stay for the people. Drinks made with love & locally sourced ingredients, community events, board games and intimate conversation cards, you can find intention & care in every corner of this radical space. Arai Arai is living, breathing proof that you can find home in many people, places, things. My most fondest memories in Bangkok were the days & evenings I spent in this cafe. Thank you P’Te, Deena, and Kram for nurturing such a beautiful space rooted in community care in this corner of Bangkok’s bustling Chinatown. We will meet again soon
