charming little bookstore in a secluded soi. sells tons of social science, politics, philosophy, and literature. soft music was playing in the background and owner was super kind and knowledgeable, with great recommendations. books you wouldn’t normally find in a mainstream bookstore, though also comprises of some notable authors, mixed in with low name id ones. price, for an alt-left independent store, on the relatively high side, though checkable on website.

A hidden little local bookstore in Sukhumvit 95, this place does a great job curating both theoretical books and literature. It has a nice, warm ambiance, perfect for spending an afternoon. The manager is very knowledgeable and offers great recommendations that match my interests. Highly recommended.

Down a side street in Sukhumvit this small book shop café has an excellent, if small, selection. Especially, if you're into philosophy and social issues. Many books in English. I sat and browsed a few books for about 20-30 minutes, no problem. Good atmosphere in there. They were playing classical music at a relatively low volume.
