Casa Vimaya Riverside Hotel Bangkok

Absolutely loved this beautiful hotel on a recent journey to BKK. The area is nice with a lot of restaurants and bars, and still calm. The hotel is very nice, well attended by reception staff. The roof top pool (yes, there is one!) is a great aid to recover from the BKK heat. Would go there again anytime.

Lovely little hotel slightly away from it all, which is good, with a great breakfast terrace facing the river. Only down side is people smoking everywhere, at breakfast, on the when others are eating, which is not nice, although there is a closed off area if you like to eat without 2nd hand smoke and also but the pool which is also annoying and spoilt our enjoyment. Our room had a naff view, and and ashtray, although the room was lovely and A's good if a little noisy. The staff are great and very helpful. The entrance is easy to miss as it's an alleyway to the entrance. Plus they have free ice creams every day and a very nice roof top pool. Which can get busy especially with kids dive bombing. Oh, nearly forgot the great breakfast choice, with a cook to order anything you want. It's only a 4 minute walk to the Koh San road. Would recommend if you're a smoker.

Good location on rhe canal. I can see reviews where people got welcome drinks that did not happen for us. Porter was excellent. Staff were efficient, but not personable. Did not give us information about tg3 hotel.Breakfast excellent choice with a view of the canal. Breakfast staff excellent Food choice of Breakfast. Needs another coffee machine as incredibly slow. Lovely view of canal while eating breakfast. Pool on roof lovely after a day sightseeing. The member of staff up there was clipping her nail while we were sat there. That was off putting. Room was clean and lots of toiletries . Says balcony, but please be aware that this is a Juliet balcony Near to hop on hop off ferry and canals , so convenient for touring the city
