Nightlife in Ekkamai, Bangkok sits next to Thonglor and has its own scene around Sukhumvit Soi 63, near the Eastern Bus Terminal. A beer house, cocktail bars and a club share the soi, and many places lean towards a local crowd. It makes a calmer alternative if the Thonglor bars feel crowded.

Getting there: BTS Ekkamai is the only station. Gateway Ekamai mall stands beside it, and the Eastern Bus Terminal is close.

Before you choose: Soi 63 is long. Bars near Gateway Ekamai are an easy walk from the BTS, while those further up the soi usually need a taxi or motorbike taxi, so check the distance first. Ask about cover charges before you sit down.
