Ashtanga Samasthiti is a wonderful Shala that truly embodies the essence of Ashtanga yoga and self-practice. The teacher is incredibly kind and generous, fostering an environment where every student feels valued and understood. Her deep knowledge goes beyond the physical aspects of yoga; she shares wisdom and philosophy that enrich the practice significantly. The warmth and friendliness of the community make it a safe space to grow and explore both body and mind. I highly recommend this Shala to anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

The beautiful practice of ashtanga, the kind and wise guidance by the teachers, and the warm and compassionate community has been a wondrous experience! I have been a student at Ashtanga Samasthiti nearing three years. My strength, flexibility, and ability to do challenging postures with a calm mind and breath have increased. But beyond the physicality of the postures, I continue to experience a deep and natural connection and awareness of self and others. Ashtanga Samasthiti is truly a gift. The collective energy of kindness, joy, and dedication to the practice have been magical. This shala is truly a home away from home. With Gratitude!

I have been a student at the Ashtanga Samasthiti for 5 years now and it has truly become my yoga home. The studio has a warm, peaceful, non-competitive and very supporting atmosphere. Kru Naw and the team is incredibly knowledgeable and always offer personalized attention and advice to help me progress in my practice, especially for backbends with laser focus alignment tips. Through these 5 years of practice, I have noticed a significant improvement in my strength, flexibility and easiness in gateway poses. Kru Naw also taught me the Moon sequence which is now entirely part of my weekly routine as a more restorative practice. The shala space is huge, with natural light coming out of large windows. This enables a lot of personal space for practice. I hope the shala can bring us more learnings on Yoga, in addition to asanas. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice or to start their practice.

Negative Reviews
Ashtanga Samasthiti is supposed to be a world-class studio. It's one of the only studios in the world with certified Ashtanga instructors. It's one of the only studios in the world where VKM is taught. The instruction is great. I am writing this review because the policy is as inhumane as the yoga instruction is elite. I attached screenshots. Decide for yourself. I cannot in good fortune support a yoga studio that leaves me feeling as if they took advantage of my enthusiasm and faith. EDIT: As far as the studio's response is concerned: your boundaries were not clear. You never mentioned, "By the way, sometimes our studio is closed if we don't get enough practitioners." Because if you did, I would've asked, "Oh, how often do you get enough practitioners?" And I would've never signed up. It's nowhere on the website, too. That's not an accident. That's by design. Which makes it predatory. Obviously if you don't regularly get enough practitioners, your studio isn't that busy, which is probably why you needed my money so much.
