I had a very comfortable and quiet stay at The Quarter Ladprao by UHG. The rooms are generously sized, clean, and well laid out, with a very comfortable bed. The 6th-floor amenities are a standout, featuring a great pool and lounge area with complimentary snacks like popcorn and crackers. There’s also a bar on the same level and a top-notch fitness center, easily one of the better hotel gyms I’ve seen in Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently located with a 7-Eleven and a few small shops at the base, and it’s just steps from the MRT subway, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. It takes about 30–35 minutes to reach Sukhumvit and roughly 45 minutes to get to the waterfront. There’s also a small local mall across the street with mostly mom-and-pop shops rather than major brands. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. While it’s not in the heart of downtown, I would definitely stay here again as long as I didn’t need to be downtown every day.

The MRT station is just a 1-minute walk from Phahon Yothin. The elevator is fast. The rooms are clean, but the soundproofing at the main door is a bit poor (you can hear other rooms opening/closing their doors). I stayed in room 912 near the end of the hallway, close to the storage room, which I didn't like very much. You can request a room near the elevator. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym. The buffet has a wide variety of dishes, so it's suitable for adults; if you're not used to Thai food, there are other options.

Convenient location, right next to train station. Great staff and security team. We enjoyed the amenities this hotel offered! We stayed in Sukhumvit the first time around and found it a bit too touristy and chaotic. Ladprao offers a more local, laid-back vibe while still being relatively close to the heart of the city. You get the best of both worlds!

Negative Reviews
I am writing this to warn all travelers: Do not trust this hotel with your belongings. My experience here was defined by physical property damage followed by a complete lack of accountability from management. The Incident (March 6th): Upon check-in, a staff member named Sam delivered my luggage to my room using a bell cart. While unloading, he used improper and excessive force, causing my hardshell suitcase to become wedged against the sharp metal frame of the cart. Instead of adjusting the position, he forcibly pulled the suitcase while it was still under high pressure. I heard a loud cracking sound, and a 10cm crack immediately appeared on the shell. I pointed this out to Sam on the spot and requested a manager, but I received zero follow-up that day. The Dismissive Response (March 7th–8th): •March 7th: I had to approach the front desk again myself to report the issue. Only then did they schedule a meeting for the following day. •March 8th: I met with the manager, Karl. To my disbelief, Karl was extremely dismissive. He baselessly claimed the damage did not occur at the hotel and insisted the staff’s behavior was "proper," despite the fact that I was a direct witness to Sam’s negligence. He ultimately refused to provide any form of compensation or apology. The Reality: My suitcase is made of flexible plastic designed to withstand standard travel impacts. It cracked specifically because it was crushed against the hotel's metal cart by Sam’s forced handling. I did not touch the luggage; the hotel staff had full control. The gaslighting and irresponsible attitude from Manager Karl are unacceptable for a professional establishment. I have attached a photo of the 10cm crack as proof. If you value your property, stay elsewhere or handle your own bags.
