What to prepare

A passport valid for at least 6 more months
For the DTV: bank statements that show at least 500,000 THB, usually for the last 3 months
For the DTV: proof of remote work or of a qualifying activity, and a criminal-record certificate
For a Non-B extension: the work permit and the company documents your employer gives
For an extension of stay: the TM.7 form, a photo and proof of your address in Thailand

Typical timeline: A DTV decision typically takes 5–15 working days. A Non-B e-Visa takes about 5–15 working days. The LTR usually takes 6–10 weeks in total, including the documents. We confirm the timeline for your case in the quote.

Questions

Which visa is right for me?

It depends on what you will do in Thailand. Remote work for a foreign employer usually points to the DTV. Work for a Thai company needs a Non-B visa and a work permit. High earners, wealthy pensioners and skilled professionals can look at the LTR. Tell us your case and we suggest the options in the quote.

Can I apply for the DTV from a neighbouring country?

Not any more. Since 31 August 2026 Thai missions take DTV applications only from the country of your nationality or of your legal residence. A tourist stay does not count as residence.

Can I work for a Thai company on a DTV?

No. The DTV allows remote work for foreign employers or clients. Work for a Thai employer, or running your own Thai company day to day, needs a work permit and usually a Non-B visa.

Do you guarantee that the visa is approved?

No one can. Thai embassies and Immigration officers make the decision. We make sure your file is complete and correct, which is the main reason applications fail.

Do you give legal advice?
