Nice, intimate setting with fantastic views. Worth a visit when in the city. Service was a bit inattentive/lacking given that there were only a few customers.

Kudos! Tonight was truly special for our family at 1970s Bar Bangkok, perched beautifully atop the newly reimagined Dusit Thani Bangkok. As everyone was preparing to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, our family was celebrating my wife’s birthday, and what a special night it turned out to be. My wife and I were married in 2001, and stepping back onto this iconic property after its complete demolition and stunning renovation was deeply emotional. Walking through the new buildings, admiring the architecture, and feeling the renewed energy of the space brought back so many cherished memories. Yet everything now feels elevated, refined, and truly world-class. The Dusit Thani brand has done something extraordinary, honoring the past while boldly stepping into the future. Our daughter handled all the arrangements and reservations (so proud of her attention to detail!), and from the moment we arrived, there was absolutely no disappointment, only excellence. The 1970s décor and interior design are beautifully executed — nostalgic yet sophisticated. Every corner feels intentional. The atmosphere is vibrant yet elegant, and the rooftop view is simply spectacular. Bangkok never looked better. What truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service. Namkhang and Bank were outstanding, attentive, warm, and professional. The entire team was alert and seamlessly coordinated; when we walked around taking photos and videos to celebrate my wife’s birthday, you could sense their communication and care. They made the celebration effortless and meaningful. In fact, the night was so magical it made me feel like proposing all over again and having another wedding right there on the rooftop… of course, with the same bride and today’s birthday beauty. Thank you for creating not just a dining experience, but a memory our family will carry forward. Five stars… and then some!

Stylish rooftop bar with a cool retro vibe. Love the decorations! We got a table by the window with an amazing view of Bangkok. The cocktails are creative and well-made, complemented by a solid bar food menu — good quality dishes with portions just right for sharing. Attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the city lights. 🍸
