BACCARAT

Everything was fine until 12. My partner and I arrived at 9:30pm, and the woman at the entrance was super rude from the moment we arrived, but we let it go. There was a Nicole Moudaber event today. We were at a table until midnight. When we arrived, the venue was empty, and no one told us it was a reserved table. A group of about 10 locals arrived and were incredibly rude to us, saying we had to leave the table (they never told us it was reserved). They had bought a bottle (funny because splitting a bottle between 10 people is cheap). They called security, and we told them that if that was the issue, we had no problem buying a bottle between two of us, but it was unfair to kick us out like that. The woman in charge of drinks told us it cost 5,000 baht, and we agreed. Then another woman in charge came and said it cost 10,000 baht, which is double and makes no sense (we have no problem paying, but it's not right to treat foreigners like idiots). It's a total joke and a lack of respect; we're not Americans. That's how they like it, but that doesn't mean we won't come with money to improve their business; it's stupid.

Thought this was a nice spot because friends recommended it. They asked to meet them there. Sadly what they didn’t realize is it’s a racist entry criteria so joining them later means I won’t get in! White people - no problem (as I stood there in shock watching they let then through without bookings), but otherwise you’re out. Despite being patient, pleasant and very polite, the bouncer was very offense too, saying I’m not welcome. What a complete disgrace! Expected better in Thailand but apparently not. Really hope people don’t support organizations like this.
