Kudos Ms. Add (5 Stars for Service & Friendliness) for being very accommodating with the Seitai massage, to include more stretching for me. Next, I am reviewing their services in comparison with Kokuo Seitai & Reflexology (I gave them 5 stars) in Bali. Their prices are pretty much the same. From my personal preference, when I go for a Seitai massage, I want a style that has a more intense Stretch routine. The Seitai style at Bear Hug seems to be more focused on Trigger Points release, but lesser on the stretches. I had to request for Ms. Add to stretch me for a longer duration, which she kindly did within our 1 hour time frame. But overall it was good, perhaps my expectations was slightly higher, after going thru treatments with Kokuo Bali, and Dr. Stretch (from Japan as well) previously.

Negative Reviews
This was my second visit, and unfortunately a huge disappointment compared to my first one. The first time I came here, I was very satisfied. I chose a Japanese sports massage priced at 1,800 THB (around 50 EUR) because it was explained to me as a high-quality, deep tissue, sports-focused massage. The therapist knew exactly what she was doing, and I left feeling much better. Today, I came back with more issues in my arms and chest, expecting the same level of professionalism. I was actually impressed at first because they give you a form where you can clearly mark the areas you want to focus on — which I did. However, despite paying a premium price, I was assigned a therapist who clearly had no understanding of sports massage or deep tissue muscle work. The massage was purely relaxation-style, very light, with no technique suitable for muscle problems. I went in with pain and tension, and I left with exactly the same issues. It felt like a complete waste of money, especially for such an expensive service. The place itself is very nice and well-presented, but based on this experience, not all therapists are at the same professional level. My advice to anyone considering this studio: make sure to ask specifically about the therapist’s experience and skills, especially if you are paying for a sports or deep tissue massage. Very disappointing.
