The rooftop setting is stunning, especially in the evening, with a classy atmosphere that feels perfect for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. The views of the city add a premium touch without feeling overwhelming. The food was excellent. Everything we tried was well-seasoned, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sides complemented the mains really well. Drinks were equally impressive, well balanced and thoughtfully crafted. Service deserves a special mention. The staff were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable without feeling rushed. Overall, Char Bangkok delivers on food, ambiance, and service. Definitely a place I would return to and confidently recommend to anyone looking for a refined rooftop dining experience in Bangkok.

Excellent place to enjoy and celebrate a birthday with a partner or family. The atmosphere was calm with good vibes—not noisy, yet very comfortable. The music was relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We truly appreciated the special birthday dessert and the lovely wishes from the team. The dishes were delicious, especially the coconut & mango pavlova dessert. I highly recommend reserving a table in advance for a spot with a nice view.

This restaurant offers good food and stunning views. I especially loved the duck; it was rich and flavorful. I personally think the duck could’ve been seasoned more, although it was still pretty good. Their staff was very attentive too and I appreciate that they ushered us to a seat with great view of the city lights. Overall, it’s pretty worth coming back again, especially for special occasions.
