I came here because i went to one of the locations last year and really loved my experience. I got the Korean hair stylist that was a woman last time and she was really accommodating and made me feel comfortable. This time i had a man. I came in wanting some hair tips and to work with me on my hair and face framing, mostly focused on my bangs and just trimming my hair up with some trimmed face framing since my hair was already cut to a specific style. This for me was just a maintenance cut. However i did say i was open to suggestions since i thought a professional stylist would have suggestions and he said he will not give me any and that its better i choose myself. Weird. I said okay that’s fine and he said it was better we just pull up a picture for him to copy. I thought that was interesting because as a stylist i would want him to understand the customers face and hair are all different and would know how to work with it. We agreed upon a long whispy bang, and the first thing he did was cut my bangs about halfway off. Not even just trimming it to check the length—went straight to cutting it right off. I stopped him and asked him if that’s way too short. He said no. But when you cut bangs you don’t pull on the hair so much to cut it and then go straight into cutting it short. I also wanted him to trim my layers and he kept saying that it was already styled and there wasn’t much he could do. I ended spending all that money mostly to have a conversation with him and to leave dissapointed. Hair is hair and it will grow back but i didn’t like the way everything was handled. Last time i came here i had an amazing experience with a woman hairstylist who was so sweet and accommodating. If you go here maybe be careful about the stylist.
