Fat Rabbit Khaosan

It was my last evening in Bangkok, and I had decided to wander around the Khaosan area by myself. While walking through the Night Market, I noticed a group of about 25 people—mostly Europeans—abruptly duck into an obscure little lane. They were all wearing matching t-shirts that read “Bangkok Bar Crawl”. Naturally, I was intrigued and decided to follow this merry bunch to see where they were headed. We moved quickly through the lane until we landed up at Fat Rabbit. There were no entry fees for the group, and the place was already buzzing—lit and loud, though not packed with anyone beyond the bar crawlers themselves. The vibe was energetic, and the drinks flowed—cocktails, beers, the usual bar crawl fare—but none of it was particularly cheap. Service was decent, but the music wasn’t to my taste at all. The sound quality left a lot to be desired, and the playlist was that kind of commercial pop you hear everywhere, loud and flat. I didn’t vibe with the crowd either, so after one drink, I did "the French leave". I just can't do nasty commercial beats. That said, the Bangkok Bar Crawl might still be worth checking out if you’re into high-energy party scenes with big crowds, booming music, and cute waitstaff. But if you’re someone who’s looking for top-notch DJs, carefully curated sets, and quality sound systems, Fat Rabbit may not hit the mark.
