Gentlemen's Tonic Bangkok

Completely amateurish experience that does not warrant the high price at all. Coming into the shop, it started off nice with the fancy decorations and being provided water, but thats where it ends. The stylist made me feel rushed even though there were no other customers in the shop. I showed example pictures of what kind of style I wanted (a simple fade with short bangs) which the stylist barely glanced at before starting the cut. There was no hair consultation like advertised as the stylist did not even try to adjust for hair type or head shape. He did not section my hair well before cutting. His razor work felt rushed and sloppy as he was running the razor over my hair quickly that a couple times it bumped my scalp. My sides also did not get faded very well and has a clear harsh line. At one point, he said he was done, but to me, the haircut did not look finished at all. My bangs and sides looked too thick. I had to ask him twice to thin out the top before giving up as each time, he would just quickly use thinning shears to cut a couple times before asking me again if it is okay. I did not expect a barber of this price point to not know how to thin out and layer bangs. I regret wasting my money here and advise anyone to avoid this place as you can probably get a better cut for 1/3 of the price.

Have to say the experience was quite a disappointment. I was expecting a premium service considered the location and price, the service was nice but can’t say the same about the final result, i’ve never had anyone cut my hair so badly, on top of what’s visible on the picture the fade was not regular and looked weird overall. Ended up having to pay 1900 for a haircut with a 10% hidden fee. Would never expect anything like that at a four seasons hotel.
