GenZ Bar & Bistro

Well this was an unexpected surprise we were heading downstairs from the Sky bar in the same hotel the Grand China hotel 🏨 and lo and behold as we’re heading down elevator we saw Gen Z bar and bistro so we thought oh OK we’ve never been here so let’s check it out! so our adventure of barhopping in Chinatown got a little bit more interesting because we didn’t expect to stop at this little bar she’s not quite so little they have pool tables and they have a outside patio that a lot of people just go sit and hang out which I thought was kind of cool! So my friend and I we just went there for a drink he got the amethyst drink and I got a beer! 🍺 It was so nice and refreshing both of the drinks and once we finish that we decided to takeoff because this was not in our barhopping tour but we were happy that we stopped in! If you’re in the area and of course if you’re in the hotel definitely pop by here it’s a different vibe and it’s enjoyable especially because you can sit outside! I would recommend to go here and check out their cocktail drinks they seem to be really cool and the presentation of them are really nice! This is a nice place to stop. The view is amazing and the staff are generous. We ordered fries that were good and crispy with plain wings that the group rated “okay”. Most enjoyed their drinks, but the service was slow. (Our group of 6 were the only customers.) The pool table is 40 baht. There was only one “okay” pool stick and the table & ball quality is also bad. It’s okay if you don’t take your skills seriously.

The bar is on the 17th floor. If you can’t find it right away, the staff at the Grand China Hotel are very helpful and will direct you to the elevator. Once you’re upstairs, you’re rewarded with an amazing view of the city. The service was excellent, and both the drinks and food were great. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We’ve been here twice and would definitely recommend this bar.
