Hair of the Dog Craft Beer and Gin Experience Phrom Phong

We stumbled upon Hair of the Dog completely by accident during our trip to Bangkok for a wedding on Ko Samui, and thank god we found it early, because it quickly became our most-visited spot. Coming from Michigan, where craft beer is practically a way of life, this place felt like home away from home. Their stouts and IPAs were hands-down the best we found in Bangkok, and they even carried bottles of harder-to-find craft brews that are tough to track down back in the States. Every member of the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and gave great recommendations, but the co-owner, Pete, really stood out. Not only with beer suggestions but also with excellent tips on other restaurants around the city. If you're ever visiting Bangkok and appreciate good craft beer, this is a must. We'll absolutely be back.

Freshest craft beer ever! I’ve known Hair of the Dog for ages and they never fail to serve perfectly fresh, cold beer. They always have a great variety of styles and flavors to choose from, which makes every visit exciting. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. If you don’t know much about craft beer, they’re more than happy to guide you through the different styles they have on tap. With 13 taps available, there’s always something interesting to try. Highly recommend this place if you’re a craft beer lover like me. Can’t wait to be back again! 🍺

I've been coming to Hair of the Dog for a number of years now and it's still one of my favourite places in Bangkok to grab good drinks. Great selection of craft beers and gin. I love the gin area upstairs although sitting and chatting with Pete downstairs is always fun! I recommend friends from abroad to visit every time they're in town!
