  I was looking to try a new salon I’d never been to before, and I decided to visit Haru. I really liked the simple, cozy atmosphere and especially the private shampoo room. The hair wash combined with a head massage felt incredibly relaxing. The stylist was very skilled, asked me detailed questions about what I wanted, paid close attention throughout, and delivered exactly the haircut I had in mind. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Haru and will definitely come back to more of their services.

  I have been a loyal customer of this hair salon for over five years, always trusting their quality and willing to pay the price. Recently, my mom and I visited together to dye our hair. We were very clear about what we wanted my mom wanted a blonder shade with more highlights, and I wanted a very brown color with absolutely no blonde. We even showed the staff inspiration pictures and emphasized these details multiple times. Unfortunately, things went very wrong. My mom’s hair ended up much darker than before, almost brown instead of blonde, and the staff argued with her about whether she asked for highlights, which was frustrating and unprofessional. After a lengthy back-and-forth, we agreed to add more highlights, but it was disappointing that she left with less blonde than when she arrived. As for my hair, despite clearly stating no blonde, the stylist made it very blonde, which upset me deeply. I was so unhappy I left the salon early and cried for hours afterward. Even after they tried to fix it, my hair is already fading back to blonde within two weeks. The communication breakdown and lack of attention to our requests were shocking, especially from a salon we had supported for so long. Overall, this experience was very disappointing and stressful. The results did not match what we asked for or the inspiration pictures, and the staff’s handling of the situation lacked professionalism and care. I hope this review helps others to be cautious, and I personally will be reconsidering where I go for my hair services in the future. Response: We had spent hours to not get the results. I littery came back to the salon not even a day later with my dad in tears. Just because I didnt cry in the moment does not mean that I was displeased. I have had my hair dyed for the last 5 years, Ive been going to you guys exculivley. The hair faded super light.And I had exlusively mentioned that I dont mind even been the closet shade to Black, not blonde at all.
