HOMEY NAIL SPA

Had a pedicure at Homey Nail Spa, and the lady cut down my nail so short to the point it was sore, I am struggling to walk and cannot wear socks or trainers due to the pain. I did not request this and she did not ask. I don’t know how this is acceptable to cut a toenail down past the nail bed. Who gets their nails this short down to the point of flesh?! Avoid at all costs!

The staff were polite and friendly, which I appreciated. However, the quality of service did not match the price. I paid 1,799 THB for a pedicure with an added foot scrub, but the scrub was done using a basic device and there was no foot massage or added value. While the pricing was transparent, the overall experience felt overpriced for what was provided

Went for a manicure (฿399) and pedicure (฿499) and honestly expected better for the price. The shop is in a rather rundown building, and my seat had a noticeable black stain — it looked old and not well maintained. During the manicure, the hand-washing setup felt awkward and uncomfortable. They also didn’t do any shiny filing, and after the manicure, my skin felt exposed. When the lady sprayed alcohol to clean my hands, it stung quite a bit — felt like the skin around my nails had been over-filed. The staff were nice and polite, so I do appreciate that. But sadly, the overall experience just wasn’t worth it for me. I was also expecting a discount for doing both mani and pedi together, but there wasn’t any. Because of all that, I don’t think I’ll be revisiting.
