Very good cocktails ! Beautiful people serving in this bar/restaurant with live music. The crabe cakes are amazing ! Thank you for your welcoming away from touristic places. Calm and enjoyable by yourself, with the one you love or with friends. I'll come back for sure !

Nice place to chill and try Burmese food. Salads here are mostly with paste and sauce from Rakhine which is so yummy, spicy and hot. The staff here are so friendly that makes you feel at friend’s home. You can also have draft beer 🍺. There is some options such as Singha, Leo or Hoegarden Rosy. If you like Live music, should come after 9:30 pm. But for me the sound system is not good. I would like to suggest to make it better.

I had an unforgettable experience at Jar Gyi Bar & Restaurant. Living and working in Singapore, I’ve been away from Myanmar for quite some time, and with everything happening back home, I often miss the warmth and spirit of my country deeply. When I visited Jar Gyi Bar in Bangkok, I truly felt like I was back in Myanmar again. The food, the music, the atmosphere — everything brought back such familiar feelings of home. Even more special, I met my wife there when she came from Myanmar, making this place even more meaningful to both of us. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food tasted authentic, and the whole vibe reminded me of what I love most about Myanmar — the sense of community and connection.
