About
A vegan restaurant with an extensive menu that wins over non-vegans too. The banana blossom sai ua sausage is a standout — a creative take on a northern Thai classic. Worth the trip even if plant-based eating isn't your usual preference.

Amazing place with a huge all vegan selection. It’s an experience worth going out of the way for, especially for a vegan visiting Bangkok. Banana blossom sausage (Sai Ua) was a one of a kind dish. If you have a hankering for fried food their fish sticks with mayo were incredible and really had a fishy flavor. Their homemade vegan ice cream was one of the best I have had. Also incredibly large healthy bowls. Lots of harder to find vegan products are offered like crab, squid, and many porks. All this combined with great prices and portions for a value focused customer. I mean it when I say it is worth it to go out of your way, I can’t even cover everything excellent about this place in one review.

The food is super delicious for me. Though I don't eat vegan much, but I can say this is the best vegan restaurant I have ever eaten. I ate boiled chicken with rice. It is far good more than I expected. This dish is hard to be found in any restaurant. They also have Spaghetti, boat noodles, croissant, many options to choose, which is why I take so many time to decide what to eat! Highly recommend!

More on my vegan travel blog: I Travel For Vegan Food 🌱 Kem-Kon is one of those spots where you could visit multiple times and still find something new to eat. They have a massive menu of veganised Thai classics, and with branches near Khaosan Road and in Phahurat (Little India), it’s pretty accessible. I visited this Phahurat location and sat on the second floor, which has windows that overlook the busy intersection below while eating some delicious Thai food. You have to try the vegan sai ua (Northern Thai sausage). It’s made from banana blossom and packed with fragrant lemongrass and lime flavors. Another of my favorite was their take on Hainanese chicken rice. The plant-based "chicken" was tender, and the ginger-garlic dipping sauce was so fragrant. It even comes with a clear soup that’s perfect for cleansing your palate between bites.
