The first thing we do when arriving in Bangkok is make a reservation at LEB BAR BKK! Our second time to Bangkok and our third visit to this fantastic establishment. Each visit, we try to order different items and every one is just as good, if not better, than the last. We started with Caesar salad, which chef spun into delightful a finger version, fresh and full of real Caesar dressing and Parmesan. Since our very first visit, we MUSTI order the tried and true carbonara. This dish is spiced up with chiles from Chiang Mai, a flavor profile so loved it was exported back to Italy!! As a new item for us, we chose a Thai wagyu beef, which was perfectly cooked with roasted garlic and served with a delicious green kizame sauce; So tender and flavorful. At this point we were full, having had white and red wine along with each course. But when the proprietors said the were making BRIOCHE CRÈME BRÛLÉE we caved and were glad we did, perfect end to the best meal, since we were here last year. We will return and if you are anywhere near Bangkok, seek this Diamond out!

This is actually a very small fine dining and wine bar. There are just about 10 chairs behind single table. This gives the place a homely and at the same time elevated atmosphere. The Australian Chardonnay we drank was with lively nose and very elegant taste. The hostess had a friendly conversation with us with passionate suggestions on different other great sining places around. At the same time her husband cooked us excellent, very vell balanced dishes (clam spagghetti, mussel rigatoni). We felt like visiting good friends in their dining room.
