My girlfriend and I have partied extensively around the world, including Las Vegas and across Europe and Asia. We were honestly laughing afterward because, despite having been to hundreds of clubs globally, this turned out to be the strangest club experience we’ve ever had. Architecturally, the venue is undeniably beautiful and visually impressive. Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside felt completely off. The club was quite full, yet almost no one was dancing on the dance floor—something we had never encountered before in such a packed venue. It may have been an off night, but the crowd dynamic felt unusual. A large portion of the women appeared to be escorts accompanied by much older men, and the behavior of the staff added to the discomfort. Some of the female staff were overly aggressive and seemed to be moving women from table to table in a way that felt more like matchmaking or pimping than normal club service. Again, this could have been an anomaly, but both my girlfriend and I left feeling that the overall experience was very strange and uncomfortable. If you’re planning to visit with your wife or girlfriend, I would strongly recommend avoiding Sundays—what I believe is ladies’ night, when women receive free entry and drink vouchers—as the crowd seemed overwhelmingly made up of escorts rather than regular clubgoers. For context, we had an amazing time clubbing on the islands and at Sing Sing Theatre, which made the contrast here even more noticeable.
