I was taking the complimentary shuttle boat back from Sathorn Pier (BTS) to Antara Pier and it happened to be sunset. I was admiring the beautiful view and decided to stop at Longtail River Bar and Lounge to watch the sunset. I managed to grab a lovely table in front which was relaxing and peaceful. Longtail River Bar and Lounge is located along the tranquil banks of the majestic Chao Phraya River. I only had a sparkling water. Service was outstanding. Friendly staff. Lovely setting. The oshibori was perfect to cool off from the heat. Cool music too. Would recommend.

A stylish bar along the river with a casual feel. Great views, relaxed vibe, friendly team - a high standard you would expect from Anantara. Oh! Delicious food. Steak frites 💕! Hospitality plus here.

My girlfriend and I were planning to have a great evening together, but unfortunately luck was not on our side. We made a reservation to make sure we would have a table. When we arrived we were surprised that no one knew anything about the reservation. What should have been a romantic dinner together ended up in a ruined evening. I got my order pretty soon, but my partner her steak just wouldn't come. My partner told me to start eating and not let it get cold. By the time I was almost done she was informed they had no more steaks. I couldn't believe what I just heard!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ My partner reordered and she got her meal 35 minutes after I was done. I told the waitress I was very not amused by this. In the end this not just some street food stand. When we were done eating and full, we suddenly got a plate of fruits as a compensation for the missed chance. I would recommend the staff to ask first before serving something to your guests what they can't eat anymore. One after the other mistakes kept stacking up. In the end I got a 15% discount on my totally overprized beer. The evening was ruined by then... They're not going to see us anymore. 👎
