I stayed here twice, the 2nd time I stayed the room I had, had an odor to it and within minutes they put me into another room ! The 2 ladies at the front desk were great very professional and friendly I would definitely return here again. The location is not bad there are a lot to do around like food markets and shopping but it’s a bit away from sightseeing. It’s a good hotel overall for the price.

My experience at Maverick Ratchada Hotel in Bangkok was genuinely enjoyable, and I feel it deserves more credit than some of the negative reviews suggest. The staff, especially the receptionists, were incredibly friendly and made a real effort to communicate in English, even with limited proficiency. Their constant smiles and welcoming gestures, like saying "khapun ka" (thank you), added a warm touch to my stay. I also appreciated the attentive cleaning service, which regularly checked on my room to ensure everything was in order. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The refrigerator was working at that time, you need to be patient. For the price, it’s hard to find another hotel that offers such great value in Bangkok. The quality of both the room and the customer service is truly on par with what you pay per night, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with friendly staff and good facilities, I highly recommend Maverick Ratchada Hotel

I like the location of this hotel. The staff are very friendly and the room is quite spacious. I like the bathroom and having a couch in the room. Overall, this is quite a great experience. But I don't like not being accessible to the balcony. The light near the mirror should also need to be brighter. The bed is a bit hard for me and the pillows are too thick. But thanks to the couch pillow, my sleep is undisturbed.

This hotel was the filthiest dump I’ve ever seen. I stayed in February 2025 was busy so posting review now First, they demanded a 500 baht deposit. Then my room was crawling with bugs, and the bathroom had a gigantic spider—if you dare go in at night, you’ll scream. Third, there was zero water in the shower (hot water? You’re dreaming). Fourth, the receptionist was outrageously rude—yelling at Indians while fawning over Americans and Europeans. And worst of all, she refused to return my deposit, falsely accusing me of dirtying the sheets. I snagged their kettle and told them, “Give me my money back and I’ll return it.” When they called the police, I calmly laid out the whole story. After some initial pushback, the officers sided with me and forced the staff to refund my deposit. The rude cop slunk away in shame, and the hotel finally apologized. Moral of the story: pay a bit more for a decent place. Unless you’re okay wrestling spiders, showering in a dry, filthy bathroom, and fighting off the receptionist and the police, steer clear of this “deposit-thief” of a hotel!!!!!!!

The hotel is a good place for the price you pay. Rooms are decent. Although not maintained well. I have stayed in this hotel two times now once in the 2022 DEC and again 2024 MAR, beds are comfortable, AC is good. Shower and toilet are okay. If you just want a place to sleep. This is ideal. The only issue I had was with the Receptionist deciding to completely ignore me and refusing to help me with booking a Taxi. Even if you can't help me be nice about it. She shook her head and looked away and pretended she couldn't hear me and replied in a very rude manner so unprofessional for a Hotel. For the management who is reading this. She was at the reception on 28th night and 29th early morning in March 2024. The other receptionists and workers I encountered were really nice and greeted me with a smile.
