I think this is my favorite Italian restaurant in Bangkok right now. The food is amazing! The staff are super friendly and the service is great. The atmosphere is lovely too. Definitely a place you have to visit 😊

Being italian i can say i am very strict when i judge european restaurants abroad but Opus is absolutely perfect. Ambient is classy and silent perfect for a romantic dinner as well as a business talk. Food is 5 stars level from fresh italian cheeses to all kind of pasta and seafood . Meat has always met my expectations even for lamb that is not so usual to find as delicate as i tried here. Been many times and still strongly advised!

A long-standing Italian restaurant with consistently excellent service. The staff are well-trained, attentive, and always ready to offer great recommendations. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the lamb and the classic Parma ham with melon. Every dish is rich in flavor but perfectly balanced not overly salty, just right. The atmosphere is always pleasant and welcoming. I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Negative Reviews
We had high expectations since the place presents itself as an authentic Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to that image. The Lardo di Colonnata was served stone cold, making it hard and plasticky. It was served on top of a strong, heavy cream that completely overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the lardo — a real pity, because this product should melt softly on warm bread, not be buried under unnecessary toppings. The risotto was dry and underseasoned, lacking the proper mantecatura (the creamy texture that defines a true risotto). The addition of hard asparagus and random chewy steak cubes didn’t make sense — it felt confused, neither Italian nor elegant. I expected something closer to risotto alla milanese con ossobuco or at least tender, moist flavorful meat. The ravioli were acceptable, but for such a pricey and pretentious place, they tasted like something you’d get from a supermarket brand — very mild cheese filling cold and gummy with a little character. Service and wine were Great!!, but overall the food didn’t justify the high prices. Too much focus on presentation, too little on authenticity and flavor. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll come back.
