Riraku Onsen & Spa

I booked a one hour Onsen and one hour oil massage for my partner and I. They were so understanding, we were late 20 mins. Things I loved: intake forms that ask about your preference for pressure and a picture of the body where you can mark where you would like the therapist to focus or not touch. We were given a cold tea when we arrived and then were taken to rinse our feet and the privó tar ones a are on the next floor up, so we were guided to the elevator upstairs ans to our private room. The decor is calming and minimalist Japanese style which helps you stay in the moment especially since you do have to travel from floor to floor. I also loved the robes provided in the room. The snacks and the water and juice were a great touch since you do get hot in the hot tub. After an hour the massage therapist come in and world their magic. I feel asleep ! I highly recommend.

What a lovely time! I spent 3 and half hrs here. Private onsen, body scrub and aromatherapy massage. Good service, the staff are very service-minded. Good to try 😊

Great value for money. My husband and I booked the 1 hour private onsen and 1 hour Thai massage. Everything was well explained. The 1 hour onsen time is just right for us to not feel rushed. Our massage therapists were really good. We compared notes afterwards and only had good things to say about our masseuses. The receptionist also seemed really sweet. If I could make a small suggestion for improvement, the reception area is really bright and not relaxing like this rest of the facilities. We went at 9pm (dark everywhere) and the front desk area was a bit jarring, like a dental office or aesthetic clinic. If the light could be toned down or changed to more of a yellow hue rather than white, I think customers will feel more relaxed from the start, especially if they have to wait there a little. Either way, I was really pleased with the service and will be back for onsen + massage. 🙂
