I’ve experienced countless breakfast buffets around the world, and The Brasserie at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok unquestionably ranks NUMBER ONE. From food quality and variety to service and interior design, everything here is simply top-notch. What sets it apart is the thoughtful attention to detail: the chefs change at least half of the dishes daily, so you never get bored. Highlights include the cold-pressed vitamin boost (carrot, orange, ginger), the perfectly cooked Thai omelet, flavorful duck sausage, and the seared scallop salad. Yes, scallops at a breakfast buffet, my first ever! Even the soft-serve ice cream was delightful. Small touches make a big difference: the honeycomb is individually plated, so you never have to deal with sticky fingers. The fruits are beautifully shaped and artfully presented. One staff member at the fruit station left the deepest impression. He is always smiling, attentive, and thoughtful. When he saw me taking glutinous rice, he immediately offered to cut a mango to go with it. That level of service truly stands out. The congee with meatballs is incredibly comforting. Honestly, the best congee I’ve ever had at any breakfast buffet. I still find myself drooling just thinking about it. I only had the pleasure of dining here three times, but I genuinely wished I could have come more often. While it’s not cheap, every penny is worth it. For anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine, thoughtful service, and a luxurious breakfast experience, The Brasserie is an absolute must.

Had a very enjoyable experience at The Brasserie. The breakfast spread was well organized and inviting, especially the fresh juice, which was refreshing and a great way to start the meal. The Eggs Benedict was a highlight, nicely prepared with a soft poached egg and flavorful sauce. I also appreciated the ham and cheese section, offering a good variety for a classic continental breakfast. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere with solid food quality, perfect for a relaxed hotel dining experience.

Saturday Brunch at The Brasserie, Waldorf Astoria This Saturday Brunch is a rare and special treat, held only 1–2 times a month, so booking months in advance is recommended. The restaurant is on a high floor with stunning city views, and brunch runs from noon to 3 PM, offering a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. The Highlight: Unlimited Caviar The centerpiece is the unlimited caviar, served via a Caviar Trolley wheeled right to your table. There are five types, including the premium OSCIETRA, which is a must-try. It pairs beautifully with waffles, Coke jelly, almond tart, and other accompaniments, allowing you to enjoy it without leaving your seat. Buffet & Seafood The international buffet is extensive. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, sweet Japanese uni (sea urchin). The Seafood Tower, featuring lobster, scallops, shrimp, and mussels, was excellent, though the cocktail sauce was a creamy Spicy Mayo rather than the classic tangy style. Main Course & Desserts Each guest selects one main course. The Slow Cooked Beef Cheek was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Smoked Duck Breast with foie gras was equally enjoyable. Desserts are visually stunning but quite sweet, typical of Western pastries. Pairing them with fresh berries helps balance the flavor. The price is around 3,500 Baht per person (excluding drinks and service charges). Service Notes Service was generally excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive, communicating well in both Thai and English. A few minor points: • Each table had three small dipping dishes on a tray. Some sauce had spilled slightly around the edges, making it look as if the dishes had been used. Nearby tables were similar, suggesting this was due to the rush of setting tables. • Made-to-order sushi was served on oversized plates for small orders, which made the presentation feel less refined. • At times, glasses went unrefilled for a while, and I had to refill my own. Timely water service is an important part of attentive fine-dining hospitality. Later in the brunch, as guests left, staff seemed busy with bills, which made it harder to keep up with tables still seated. Despite these small details, the overall experience was impressive.
