In response to Martijn • I was actually there that night and this review leaves out a lot. The waiter made a small mistake on the bill, but the way you reacted was way out of line. You were yelling at the waitress, treating her badly, and even kept putting your hands on her while she was just trying to help fix the situation. There was also no chance she was trying to scam you. She’s served me many times and has always been great. I spend a lot of time at this bar when I’m in Thailand and it honestly feels like a second home to me. The staff stayed calm and tried to handle it professionally, but things kept escalating until the owner had to step in and ask you to leave. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bangkok. Great atmosphere, good music, and good people.

Came for the live music, stayed for the people. Really lovely, cosey venue with staff and owners that care about their job. The amazing band on Saturday night did a wonderful job and clearly love to play, having fun all night. Drummer in particular was a delight. Friendly owners were on premises and happily mimgled/chatted with customers. The staff look after customers and each other and all in all it creates a nice atmosphere that stands out as exceptional and relaxed, especially in the nana area. Come early, and you'll find there's no live music, but great prices on drinks (and free pool). After the live music starts it gets busier and louder, and is still a lot of fun. Very glad to have spent a Saturday night there. Will return next time im in Bangkok for absolute certain. If you enjoy live rock and blues, this is a must try venue.

Greatest place for live music in Bangkok. Always great musicians who have played with bands you’ve heard of. From classic rock to blues to jazz to Grateful Dead and The Beatles. The owner, a former New Yorker, John Medina, snd his smart and lovely wife are great hosts who have it dialed in. The guests are as interesting as the staff. 5 stars. I never leave reviews but this one is a must. Just off Soi 11. Go
