This was my second visit to the Roof at Mode Sathorn. Price-wise, I still find it noticeably more expensive than many other rooftop bars around Bangkok. The venue offers a full 360-degree view of the city. One section of the space is unused, but you’re still free to wander around and take in the views, which is very much the main draw. We went on a Thursday evening and it wasn’t particularly busy. The waitress who looked after us was friendly and attentive. We ordered a one-litre pitcher of beer along with some French fries, which were fairly average. While it’s certainly on the pricey side for us, I can’t deny that the views are excellent, and there are a few angles up there that I really enjoyed — and couldn’t resist photographing.

Views are amazing! Drinks menu is nice. The food is pretty pricey but that's standard for hotels around this area. The main thing was the service - this is the only place we visited in Bangkok where we weren't greeted with smiley, lovely staff. Friendlier staff would really elevate this bar

I had a wonderful stay at the Mode Sathorn Hotel, and so went up to the roof top bar a couple of times. It's a fantastic spot to relax and unwind with a few drinks. Noey and Mint provided very good service and the cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend a visit to this bar.

The view is absolutely incredible! Unfortunately, that is it. The drinks aren’t anything special and over priced - probably due to the view and location, and we made a huge mistake purchasing food/apps. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, but they seemed to be first time employees or almost timid to a certain degree. Nevertheless, they were so nice! Hmm… if you don’t mind over paying, then go for the view.
