About
Thestaycafe Indian Touch in Phaya Thai delivers Indian cuisine with attention to fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. Open late (until at least 10pm), the kitchen excels at vegetarian preparations like thali and samosas, welcoming travelers with warm, friendly service that transcends language barriers.
Vegetarian dishes prove particularly successful—the thali arrives light despite rich flavors, and samosas deliver perfect savory crunch. Chicken curries lean toward coconut-based preparations suited to Thai palates, and the staff maintain genuine warmth even during late-night service, making this a worthwhile detour near the bus station.
Thestaycafe Indian Touch sits near Nakhonchai Air bus station, proving that great Indian food doesn't need a prime location to find its audience. The kitchen delivers authentic vegetable thali, crispy samosas, and chicken tikka with the kind of fresh-spice clarity that suggests a real connection to the cuisine. Staff welcome late arrivals with genuine warmth, and prices stay remarkably fair for this quality.

We had a very delicious dinner there last night. Due to hours of getting to our hotel from the airport, we found this place, where the staff was still welcoming us with a nice smile and so much friendliness at 10 p.m. I forgot, as always, to say make it spicy, but the food was still really good! Vegetarian samosas were spicy and yummy! Thanks for having us.

Very nice people. My husband is Indian so we haven’t been to a lot of Indian restaurants! The samosas were wonderful and savory. The chicken korma was a little like coconut curry. The chicken tikka wasn’t quite spicy enough, the chef came over and took it back to make it spicier. Wonderful. Perfect meal.

We got the 2 types of Veggie Thali and a veggie Manchurian. This food is seriously delicious. Quite light for Indian food thankfully and incredible flavour. Super fresh. The lady serving us was very sweet and helpful. Good vibes, incredible food and excellent prices. Often Indian food of this quality is crazy expensive. Partially eaten portions photographed, couldn't wait🤣🤣
