About
A local night market near Don Mueang with carnival rides, street food stalls, and novelties like edible insects. Less touristy than central markets and largely cashless, so have a Thai payment app ready before arriving.

This night market has recently reopened this year and this place has less tourists and more locals than the other night markets around the city. Lots of food stalls but I have found the food to be quite repetitive. Price is reasonable and slightly cheaper than other contenders. There is also a small arcades for the younger kids and claw machine store for the enthusiasts. Last but not least, the signature castle near the entrance is very eye-catching.

Less tourist and more to local market. Mostly cashless, and make sure your payment can be made if using cross-border application. You can get variety of local foods here, including exotic insects. And not to forget the amazing castle view while enjoying your dinner there.

Train Night Market DanNeramit offers a vibrant and diverse experience, featuring a variety of attractions such as a pirate ship ride, a small Ferris wheel, and a children's kitchen, along with an assortment of games reminiscent of Taiwan’s night markets, including shooting galleries and various fun activities. This market stands out with its rich selection of entertainment options, far surpassing many other night markets. In terms of food, the market boasts an impressive array of culinary delights at relatively affordable prices. Visitors can enjoy their meals while watching dance performances or relax on the grassy area beneath the castle-like structure, creating a picnic-like atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The gentle breeze adds to the charm of the evening. Personally, I absolutely love this night market. Its proximity to the subway station makes it extremely convenient for visitors. Overall, Train Night Market DanNeramit is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with fun, food, and entertainment.

Negative Reviews
I visited Train Night Market DanNeramit, which is located between Ha Yaek Lat Phrao BTS and Phahonyothin Station—about an 8–10 minute walk from either station. The market has plenty of food stalls, but unfortunately, very limited halal options. I only managed to find three halal food stalls, and the choices were quite ordinary, nothing special, and similar to what you can easily get in other night markets that actually have more halal variety. Prices were reasonable, but for Muslim travellers, the lack of options makes it less enjoyable and not worth coming just for the food. On the positive side, the market does have seating shelters, which are very useful if it rains. You can sit down, eat comfortably, and still enjoy the atmosphere. There are also clothing stalls, massage parlours, and a beautiful castle structure that makes a great backdrop for photos. Overall, this market is better suited for non-Muslim travellers who want a casual night out browsing food and stalls. For Muslims, it may feel underwhelming due to the limited halal food. Perhaps nice for a short stroll or to relax for a bit, but I wouldn’t recommend spending more than an hour here.
