The buffet lineup was moved up here from the ground floor, so you get to enjoy one of the most stunning views in BKK! The food selection, however, was a bit lackluster. The smoked salmon and cheese platter were dry, and the heating lamps were not strong enough to keep the meat section warm. The cakes in the dessert section consisted of 3–4 different varieties of mousse, which felt repetitive. Despite not having the best impression of the food, the service was great. They even invited us to check out the rooftop bar and take some pictures!

Visited Vertigo at Banyan Tree Bangkok and had an incredible evening! We started on the rooftop (61st floor) to check out the view – it was absolutely amazing with stunning 360° panoramic sights of the city lights, but it was very crowded with people. So we went down one level to Vertigo TOO (the hidden sky bar on the 60th), and wow – what a great decision! The most amazing international buffet awaited us – fresh, delicious variety with premium options that were perfectly prepared. The wine served with the meal was absolutely splendid; our server was fantastic, always close by to refill our glasses without missing a beat. The dessert bar was a highlight too – so many tempting treats that we couldn't resist!Attentive service, breathtaking views even from indoors, and a more relaxed vibe than the top level. Perfect for a special dinner with great food and drinks. Highly recommend if you want luxury without the full crowd. Will return! 5/5

Upscale experience. We had a lobster risotto and crab bruschetta along with a medium spiced shrimp linguini. I celebrated my birthday and it ended with a candlelit mini-cake. The view was fantastic! Navigation to the restaurant is not as clear if you are not staying at the hotel but if you keep asking you will get there. Once you to get to the 59th floor be prepared to climb steps. Not sure if the rooftop is accessible any other way. I saw waiters bringing food via the steps. The service was great. The lobster risotto was a little heavy on the salt with a brown gravy base. It was good otherwise. Atmosphere, views and service was impeccable!!!

I found this restaurant on Hungry Hub and decided to visit because of the great reviews. The package I chose included three appetisers, three main courses, two desserts, and two mocktails. The meal started off very well. The appetisers were genuinely impressive – the salmon was fresh, and the crispy rice with tuna was absolutely delicious! It was a great start and set high expectations for the rest of the meal. However, the main courses didn’t quite meet the same standard. I ordered the seabass, striploin, and lamb shank. Unfortunately, all three dishes arrived quite cold, which was disappointing. The striploin was very tough and chewy, and we had to ask for it to be reheated. The lamb shank itself was nice, though naturally on the gamier side, but the mashed potatoes served with it was super watery and lacked flavour. The seabass also seemed slightly overcooked, making the fish and skin tougher than expected. The sauce and vegetables were just okay. Thankfully, the desserts brought the experience back up. Both dishes – the mango cheesecake and the chocolate lava cake with jam – were very enjoyable. The mocktails were decent but nothing unique. One thing I wish had been communicated more clearly was the cost of water. We weren’t told there would be an extra charge, and I was surprised to find out a bottle cost 320 THB (upon receiving the bill). With tax and service fees, the total ended up being 175 AUD instead of the expected 140 AUD. Overall, I can see why the restaurant has good reviews, especially based on the appetisers and desserts. With improvements to the temperature and flavour of the main dishes, and clearer communication about additional charges, it has the potential to provide a much more consistent dining experience and potentially see returning customers. There was also a live band, which added a great vibe to the atmosphere, and they even took song requests which we really appreciated. 🎤🎹
