Best Nightlife in Khao San, Bangkok

Nightlife in Khao San, Bangkok is the backpacker end of the city. The street party around Khao San Road and Rambuttri Road runs alongside bigger clubs, reggae and ska venues, and a few quieter rooftops. The Grand Palace is close, so many visitors come here after a day of sightseeing.

Getting there: no BTS or MRT station is near. Use a taxi or Grab, or take a Chao Phraya Express boat to Phra Arthit pier. The nearest MRT, Sam Yot, is about a 20-minute walk.

At the time of writing (October 2026), listings include The Club, a three-level nightclub, Brick Bar, a ska and reggae venue with late hours, and Bangkok Jazz BBQ and Bar, which offers live music.

Before you choose: Carry your passport or a copy, because venues may check ID and the legal drinking age is 20. Plan your ride home before you start, because the area has no rail line and the boats stop running in the evening, so check the last departure.
