Restaurants in Riverside, Bangkok line the Chao Phraya, from the grand hotels of Bang Rak to ICONSIAM and Asiatique. Many tables face the water, and several venues run as large buffets for families and tour groups.

Some venues run their own boats from the piers, so ask about a shuttle when you book a large group.

Getting there: take BTS Saphan Taksin and walk to Sathorn pier for the river boats. The Gold Line stops at Charoen Nakhon for ICONSIAM. Chao Phraya Express boats serve the piers in between.
