Shopping in Riverside, Bangkok is about large destinations on the Chao Phraya. ICONSIAM stands on the Thonburi bank, and Asiatique is an open-air riverfront complex with a Ferris wheel. Both are easier to reach by boat than by road in the evening.
Getting there: BTS Saphan Taksin for Sathorn pier, and the Gold Line to ICONSIAM. Chao Phraya Express boats run along the bank.
