Shopping in Thonglor, Bangkok

Shopping in Thonglor, Bangkok stays small. Sukhumvit Soi 55 is a long soi of restaurants, cafes, bars and beauty businesses running north from BTS Thong Lo, and shops fill the gaps between the food. Visitors tend to browse here on the way to a meal.

Before you choose: the soi is long, and a shop near the top end is a real walk from the BTS. Take a motorbike taxi or a taxi for the far end, and walk back along the soi to see the cafes.
