Wellness & SPA in Bang Rak, Bangkok has a small group of luxury hotel spas along the historic Charoen Krung road and the river, in a district that is now a creative quarter. These are mostly spas inside well-known hotels, so the experience differs from a walk-in massage shop on a side soi.

Getting there: BTS Saphan Taksin and Surasak, and MRT Sam Yan, are the closest stations. Sathorn pier connects to the river boats.

At the time of writing (October 2026), the listings include Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La Bangkok, Erb Spa, Bangkok Spa and Mandara Spa at Royal Orchid Sheraton, which is in the Royal Orchid Sheraton hotel.

Before you choose: Hotel spas often work by booking. Contact them first and ask whether non-guests can book. The Shangri-La and Royal Orchid sit on the river, so allow extra time for the road or the boat.
