Elegant stay at 137 Pillars. I stayed in the Studio Residence for one week. The room is quite spacious, beautifully appointed, with comfortable bed. It was nice to have the kitchenette to make some quick breakfast and coffee in the morning. Everything is top notch, from the dining options (including in room dining at reasonable prices), the pool and the gym. And don’t skip on watching the sunset from the rooftop! Absolutely enjoyed my stay. The one detraction is it’s not close to a metro stop (about a 12 minute walk) but the hotel has a shuttle which is a great option for those who don’t want to walk. Otherwise, there’s lots to explore in the neighborhood and Thonglor. And of course all the people who work at the hotel are friendly and kind, always welcoming.

Exceptional stay at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok 137 Pillars Bangkok is an absolutely amazing place with an outstanding level of service from start to finish. The suites are spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and very well appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay — including a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub. The rooftop infinity pool is truly spectacular, offering breathtaking views over Bangkok and a perfect place to relax and unwind. We had access to the Executive Lounge, which was a highlight in itself. The service level there was exceptional — warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Fahsai, Fon, Cake, and Ploy for their constant smiles, kindness, and care. You truly made our stay unforgettable. The food quality was excellent 👍 and consistently high throughout the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class service in Bangkok. We would absolutely return.

A Refined Urban Sanctuary Above Bangkok What makes 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok so special is how effortlessly it blends boutique intimacy with elevated city luxury. This marks my 5th Small Luxury Hotels of the World property, and it remains one of my absolute favorites. The hotel is also proudly recognised with the prestigious 1 Michelin Key award, a true testament to its exceptional quality and experience. Set in the Sukhumvit area near Phrom Phong, the hotel feels calm and residential despite its central location. With a limited number of suites, the atmosphere is intentionally intimate, offering privacy and highly personalised service. I stayed in the Ayutthaya Suite, which perfectly reflects the hotel’s refined, residential feel. The design combines contemporary elegance with warm Thai influences, creating spaces that feel polished yet welcoming. One of the highlights is the rooftop infinity pool, offering uninterrupted views over Bangkok’s skyline and a serene, exclusive atmosphere. Wellness continues at Nitra Spa & Wellness, reinforcing the sense of calm that defines the property. Dining completes the experience, from refined Thai cuisine at Nimitr to relaxed international flavours at Bangkok Trading Post Bistro & Bar. Every detail feels thoughtful, measured, and quietly luxurious, making this 1 Michelin Key hotel a true urban retreat above the city.

This was a pleasant hotel. I traveled as a solo female. I stayed for 5 nights. Overall, I would not rate this as a 5-star hotel. The design itself is modern and classic. The rooms were designed nicely and had basic necessities. However, the service was very lacking and unapproachable. The appliances are outdated and old. For the price of this hotel, you would expect that most of the amenities are free but they are not depending on the type of room you book. My biggest complaint is the breakfast buffet. Most of the buffet has to be ordered through a server. When I arrived at breakfast, nobody was at the counter to check me in so I sat myself. At the time I arrived, the restaurant was not crowded and there were many empty tables around me. The restaurant is also quite small. When I finally caught their attention, they asked me to pay and handed me a menu. I confirmed that I paid for breakfast ahead of time. Not a single person came back to take my order from the menu. There were about 4 servers that were going around cleaning tables and taking orders for a half empty restaurant. I sat at the front middle table so I was very easy to spot. So I did not eat anything off the menu or have coffee. I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels that don’t even compare to this type of service.
