2nd STREET Phrom Phong

Came as a seller - visited at 1:30pm on a weekday with 4 items: a Brit branded crossbody bag and 3 pairs of lifestyle sneakers. It took the staff 5 hours to make an appraisal. Staff said they would call me if appraisal done, but the crazy thing was that I actually had to call in to follow up - that was at 6:30pm bec I wasn’t sure of closing time. Was informed appraisal done. I asked why wasn’t there a call, they said they just completed it. Wow 5 hours. Don’t expect an accurate estimated appraisal finish time. It also seems that despite my inclusion of a branded paper bag, complete certificate, and dust bag for the cross body bag I offered, these had no impact on the appraisal price as I found it too low, so I declined. One pair of sneakers was rejected due to an “indentation of the sole”, and the prices offered for the other 2 pairs was reasonable. From a Buyer perspective, the shop has nice layout and lighting but seems their selling prices here are more expensive vs other 2nd Street branches in BKK. Maybe because more prime location. In summary, if you’re a seller I agree with someone else’s previous review post that you have to manage your expectations. Your appraisal could take almost a half-day as mine did.

Visited as a seller. Appraisal process took over four hours. The shop did not accept any clothing items (designer and mid-range brands). They accepted three pairs of branded leather shoes and offered a total of 1,500 baht. Clothing items without care/material labels were not accepted, even if the brand tag/size is present. Sharing this so other sellers are aware of the waiting time and intake criteria before visiting.
