The entirety of the hostel smelt like sewage and it was extremely unpleasant, the only escape from it was inside the room so thankfully that didn’t smell as well. The room itself was fairly nice and the bed was comfortable, although the warm water did not work consistently in the shower. The staff were helpful whenever we needed anything which was good. The location of the hostel is great as it is near the BTS and MRT lines so it makes it easy to travel around Bangkok. However I would not recommend it if you are not a fan of extremely busy areas and bad smells. I wouldn’t stay here again.

1, toilet seat were never cleaned or sanitised. Same stains on the same toilet seat for 3 days and never wiped! sanitizer should be provided if staff does not want to clean it. 2, there’s one day that 3 out of 4 toilet paper were finished. no replacement. 3, horrible smell in the toilet due to zero ventilation. 4, the drain in shower room was stuck. Water flood after a minute. 5, the shower room smells bad as well 6, female staff at reception has low understanding of English and hard for communicate. Basically if you use some terms or vocabulary that she doesn’t know she will just say NO without understanding what the question was… 7, WIFI is extremely unstable and slow.

Zero regard for guest safety after sexual assault I woke up in the middle of the night to a man sitting in my bed and touching me. Shocked and distressed, I immediately reported this to the hostel staff. Their response was not concern, not support, and not action. Instead, I was told that if I wanted privacy, I should have booked a private room. I cannot overstate how disturbing this response was. After experiencing what was clearly a sexual assault, I was dismissed, told to calm down, and informed that the man was a “long-time guest.” No meaningful questions were asked. The perpetrator faced no consequences, showed no remorse, and simply smiled and claimed I was “misunderstanding.” This experience fundamentally damaged my sense of safety and trust. What happened to me was traumatic—but what made it worse was the hostel’s complete failure to take responsibility, their gaslighting, and their lack of basic duty of care toward a guest in distress. Incidents can happen anywhere. What defines a place is how it responds afterward. In this case, the response was callous, negligent, and deeply unprofessional. I would strongly caution anyone—especially solo travelers—to think carefully before staying here if they expect safety or support.
