Boutique hotel on Surawong with clean, modern rooms and standout front desk service. Staff like Ms. Bee set the tone — professional, warm, and detail-oriented. A sleek option in Silom that quietly delivers more than its size suggests.

I’m very amazed by this hotel. Aside from clean, modern and sleek rooms, the service is great and incomparable to other hotels. Special mention to Ms. Bee of the front desk, she is very professional, warm and helpful to guests. The prime location of the hotel is very convenient, close to everything I needed. I would definitely stay again in this hotel in the future.

This hotel provides great value, but it’s important to have realistic expectations. For the price you pay, you can get a decently comfortable stay within a great location to explore Bangkok. The room was decently clean with the occasional mold / shower needing to be re-caulked. However, they provide comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, Q-tips, toothbrush/toothpaste, and shampoo/conditioner. The hot water uses an instant heater so you may notice it not being too consistent in the shower where the water may be more warm at times. The sink for face washing and brushing teeth does not have hot water. The towels are very worn out so highly recommend bringing your own towels and slippers. The location is also right across the street from Patpong Night Market so it will be lively. Plenty of street food is easily just a few steps away. However, you will hear motorbikes and TukTuks so I highly suggest bringing a pair of earplugs when you sleep. The AC in the room isn’t the strongest so sometimes I leave it on for a few hours before returning to my hotel room so that the temperature is nice and cool. That being said, this location is perfect for visiting the SkyWalk, taking the train to see the temples in Bangkok, or going to Terminal 21 Asok area.

🏨 My "Mission: Impossible" Staycation at Hotel 56 Surawong 🕵️♀️ Chose this hotel for an early morning errand nearby. Little did I know, my journey there would be an adrenaline-packed detour! The traffic was INSANE – thanks to a fair at Lumphini Park AND the SEA Games. Got so lost circling the area I almost needed a GPS for my sanity. Finally checked in, utterly zonked. My first room, #508, decided to play a little joke on me. The bed was pointed straight at a connecting door (a potential ghostly shortcut to the neighbors, maybe?). A tiny wave of "nope" hit me 😅, so I asked for a switch. Big shoutout to the super nice staff who moved me to room #612 without a fuss. Result? Slept like a log, almost missed my appointment! 😴 The Vibe & The Room: The hotel mixes traditional Thai with a fun, modern twist. Think soft pastel greens and purples, classic carved wood accents, and a surprising, cheerful dusty pink on the walls. It’s serene yet stylish. The bed was a cloud, and the bathroom had a proper wet/dry area. The best part? Drawing the curtains to a vibrant night view of the buzzing street below – super cool. Location, Location, Location: You're right in the heart of the action. Cross the street, and you're on Phat Phong Road, the street that never sleeps. There's a 24-hour Burger King, a 7-Eleven nearby… perfect for night owls. Not recommended for absolute quiet-seekers! For explorers: It's a short trip to Bantadthong Road, close to Central Dusit, and surrounded by night markets. Super convenient. The hotel itself has a sweet little garden courtyard with comfy sofa beds that practically swallow you whole – perfect for lounging. Oh, and free parking is a major plus! All in all, what started with a chaotic commute turned into a great stay. The hotel is charming, the staff is helpful, and the location is prime for anyone wanting to dive into Bangkok's lively energy. Just maybe check the event schedule before you go! 👍#whereaimsavor

I had a very frustrating experience at this hotel for several reasons: 1. Booking Confusion: I booked a double bed, but at check-in, the staff said I would get twin beds because got a confirmation twin bed. However, when I actually entered the room, it was a double bed as requested. 2. Poor Room Condition: The first room had a major AC leak that left a puddle on the floor. The room looked unfinished with visible paint patches, and there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom drains. I had to request a room change immediately. 3. Noisy Replacement Room: After asking to move, staff told the hotel was full and no double rooms were available. I agreed to take twin beds instead, but the new room was right next to the main road. The traffic noise and loud music from the bar across the street were unbearable and kept me up. 4. Damaged Bedding: The bedsheets had visible holes in them. I don't understand how housekeeping could overlook this or why they would provide damaged linen to guests. It seems there is no quality control or room inspection before check-in. The only positive: The female staff member on the day shift was very polite, friendly, and welcoming. She was the only highlight of this stay.

The room had very limited soundproofing, and noise from the walking street could be heard until around 2 a.m., which affected my rest. Communication from the staff was also minimal, and information was not always clearly explained unless asked. I booked a room with 2 breakfasts and had confirmation for 2 guests. However, the front desk mentioned only 1 person was registered, even though we arrived together at check-in and no additional guest details were requested at that time. This caused some inconvenience, especially after limited sleep. On a positive note, breakfast was good for the price, and the room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with basic amenities. The only downside was that the hair dryer was not sufficient. Overall, the room and breakfast were acceptable, but improvements in soundproofing and front desk communication would greatly enhance the guest experience.
