98 Wireless, Thailand’s most expensive super-luxury condominium is located on one of Bangkok's top-tier addresses - Wireless Road, a rare tree-lined boulevard in the heart of Bangkok, with a mix of high-end shopping malls, Grade A offices, luxury hotels, and nearly 30 prestigious embassies and ambassador’s residences. The name "Wireless Road" was given by King Rama VI to the original site of Thailand's first radio station a century ago. Today, Wireless Road is known as Bangkok's "Fifth Avenue" and is still home to many Thai aristocrats and envoys. Wireless Road has excellent connections with Sukhumvit, Siam, Rama IV, and Sathorn, as well as Lumpini Park - the first municipal park in Bangkok, which was granted by King Rama VI. Since its inception three decades ago, Wireless Road has been breaking records for one of the most expensive locations in Thailand, and freehold land is extremely scarce, with the majority of land titled to government agencies or the Crown Property Bureau. 2018 saw the listing of the former site of the British Embassy on Wireless Road for a staggering 18.6 billion baht, the largest land transaction in Thai real estate history. 98 Wireless is one of the very few freehold residences on Wireless Road, with majestic architectural design, landscaping, structural engineering, acoustics, and interior design by the world's top design teams and even Ralph Lauren furnishings in the common area. 98 Wireless is also one of the highest-priced residences in Southeast Asia.

Negative Reviews
Lived at 98 Wireless for about a year. Unit 98-66. One-year lease about $7500.00 per month. Building is beautiful and well maintained. The agent Elite Homes has been mostly awful to work with. The agent made misrepresentations about the services available to the the building residents. Most notably there is no private chef here. OK, for the record, there is no private chef available at 98 Wireless Road, no matter what the agent says. I never had such a thing and was looking forward to checking it out. I live alone and could have used the help with meals. Total fabrication on the part of the agent. I have had no hot water now for three days and no hot water for the last five out seven days. Hot water was unavailable when I moved in and failed a few times during the year. Always a hassle but it gets fixed after few hours. I have a bad schedule and very little free time. Lately, I spend a lot of my free time complaining to the building about the various issues; I am damned tired of it. For this price point, are you kidding me? Landlord has been MIA and unresponsive to me, the agent and the building. Stove was non-operational. That took a week or two to fix. Promised house car is usually unavailable because the car is "not working". The few times I used the service it was cool but the promised amenity is usually unavailable. The Grand Center Pointe, the three-star hotel next to my unit is a source of constant noise, morning, noon and night. The pool is close to the property boundary so you get to hear the yelling and screaming kids playing at the pool. Nice families and generally nice late-night revelers who stay on the balcony to smoke and talk but.....I do not want hear it. I thought I was moving into a tranquil, quiet place. I did not. If you want quiet, find a different place to live. Staff here is very nice. No issues, at all. I feel bad that my uncaring landlord and the lack of utilities has turned me into a yelling ogre. Not much recourse, though. Location is unbeatable. Right in the center of the action. Central Embassy is close by for food and shopping. There is constant construction going on behind the building. It is noisy with some hammer and grinding noises, however, I do not find the construction noise bothersome, at all. The yelling and screaming from the hotel next door is far more bothersome, at least to me. A unit facing the U.S. Ambassador's residence might help alleviate the problem with the frat house next door. A different landlord and agent would also help. I write these reviews to inform the public. The facts of this review are my own experience earned over the past year. Nice place, indeed, but I would likely find a less expensive place to live with less problems with the utilities and the promised amenities.
