My first visit to the beautiful country of Thailand and I really wanted to have a custom suit made in Bangkok. I was staying at The W Hotel and A J Tailor was right around the corner. I walked in without an appointment and the staff was extremely accommodating to me. They were eager to assist me in choosing the perfect fabrics and helped me design the exact look that I was going for. My suits were ready for me in 3 days, just in time to catch my flight home to the United States….I really appreciated them doing a rush job for me. I highly recommend A J Tailor and will definitely be back next time I’m in Bangkok 😊

Stumbled across AJ Tailor as it was round the corner from my hotel. Was curious and wandered in as I’d heard a lot about bespoke tailoring in BKK. I was superbly welcomed and while I was initially only curious, I ended up with 5 bespoke shirts, two suits, expertly fitted. The turnaround was super quick - 3 days. Great quality and fit like a dream. I am broad shouldered and 5’9” and of muscular build so finding a good quality fit off the rack is impossible. I now have some great fitting suits and shirts. They keep your measurements and I was back a month of two later - and decided to get another 6 shirts. Would recommend!

For anyone considering getting a garment from AJ Tailor, i hope this review can help you on making the decision. In a nutshell, im myself a tailor in Europe and work in custom suit industry for over a decade, so when i had an idea of getting myself a suit while in Bangkok i went across a dozen of well reviewed places and what i most often seen was one out of two: Good tailoring with bad fabrics or bad tailoring with good fabrics. AJ caught my eye as as soon as i stepped in. I noticed the garments that were already made for other clients and i was impressed with the workmanship that i could see in them. Once asked for fabrics and samples, they did not disappoint by presenting everything you might want and then some. As i wanted to get a safari suit, which in tailoring world is known to be hard to make, AJ Tailor seemed like the place where it would be worth trying. We discussed every nuance, customizations, took the measurements and even discussed future fit, etc am i planning to gain muscles or lose weight. Just a few days later i received the garment and to be fair even as an experienced tailor i was blown away by the precision and how well a fabric sits. If they were able to make a famously known hard to make safari jacket to the level that even a european tailor is impressed, they are more than qualified to make you look your best. Highly recommended and will be returning to AJ Tailor next year to upgrade my wardrobe.
