Amber Inn Bangkok

Worst hotel experience I have ever had – highly disappointing and uncomfortable stay. My stay at Amber Inn Hotel was extremely unpleasant and stressful. From the very beginning, the service and facilities were far below expectations. The receptionist always seemed busy on the phone and showed very little interest in helping guests, which gave a very unprofessional first impression. When we arrived, we were allotted a room on the 7th floor, which clearly appeared to be an extension added later. The lift operates only up to the 6th floor, and to reach the 7th floor, guests have to climb a wooden ladder. This felt unsafe, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable for a hotel. We were given the last room on that floor. Initially, everything seemed manageable, but the real problem started at night. Throughout the entire night, there was a continuous loud noise, sounding like a motor or some machinery, which made it almost impossible to sleep. The noise did not stop even for a short while. We were already exhausted from our journey, and this constant disturbance made the night extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. The next morning, we informed the reception about the issue. Instead of resolving it properly, they simply shifted us to another room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, this room was street-facing, and the outside noise during the night was equally disturbing, with traffic and other sounds coming in continuously. On top of that, the room size was shockingly small. There was barely any space to move around, and we couldn’t even open our luggage properly. The washroom was extremely cramped—while taking a shower, the toilet seat almost touches your body, which is very uncomfortable and unhygienic.In washroom there was something on floor like gerece or oil like that always make my feet feels oily. The television was not working. Overall, this hotel lacks basic comfort, proper room planning, soundproofing, and professional service. Considering the inconvenience, noise, poor facilities, and lack of attention from staff, this was a complete waste of money. I would strongly not recommend Amber Inn Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful or comfortable stay.
